Come Worship With Us

Our services at Monrovia are all about getting closer to God.  Whether through worship, fellowship or the message, we want to know Him better.  When believers gather in one place, with one heart and one vision, something special happens.  Hearts are healed.  Hope is restored.  Faith grows.  Relationships are built.

What to Expect

Worship is a time of lifting our praises to God.  We offer a blend of contemporary Christian songs and traditional hymns that span the generations.

You will find a relaxed atmosphere and you can expect a relevant message from God’s Word that can be applied to everyday life.

We have communion each Sunday and it is open to all who wish to participate.  Communion is our way of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for all our sins.

Children’s Ministries

A staffed nursery is open during all assemblies and classes.

A toddler room is available for children who get restless during service.

We offer classes for children of all ages.

Stay for a While

Our services last about an hour, and classes are about 45 minutes.  After church we have lunch for the entire congregation.  You have to eat somewhere, so you might as well stay with us.  This is a time of great food and fellowship.

Feel free to dress comfortably. Most of our members dress casually, with a few feeling a need to “dress up” a bit. We don’t believe that God is that concerned with our outward appearance. He cares about what is on the inside.

The Kind of People You Will Find

What kind of people will you find here? You will find traditionalists and you will find those who prefer anything new over everything old.  You will find that Monrovia is a place for real people. We all have the same hurts, habits and hang ups as everyone else.

We are a diverse group, coming from varied backgrounds, and we are at different stages of knowledge and spiritual growth. We don’t know everything and we don’t do everything right. We haven’t arrived – God is still working on us.

We are brought together by our recognition that we are sinners in need of the cleansing blood of Jesus. That is the reason we can stick together and worship together. We are a family of imperfect people serving a perfect God.
