The Care Group program is designed to encourage fellowship with current members as well as visitors. Breaking into four separate groups that meet on one assigned Sunday each month for a potluck lunch, each member has the opportunity to practice the traditional Care Group principles…

  • A care group allows participants to develop and nurture spiritual relationships with various members of the congregation. It provides a great avenue to involve all the members of the congregation in the body at Monrovia.
  • A care group provides the opportunity to hold other members accountable to commitments made to both Jesus Christ and other members in the group.
  • A care group allows Christians the opportunity to invite guests into a more informal and relaxed setting. It takes advantage of relational evangelism.
  • The care group setting allows participants the opportunity to share struggles and seek the encouragement of his fellow group members.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up
meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the
more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

HIS Ministry

This service is provided by members of the family of Monrovia Church of Christ. We have a mission to be Christ’s hands and feet as we are his body.

We work in various service jobs to make improvements, repair, clean-up, and help our community, church and members. We provide a physical work that contributes to supplying the needs of others.

Jesus served us with his life of compassion, of healing, of feeding, caring, and showing us grace, forgiveness and mercy. We hope that we can honor our Lord by our service.

If we can be of further service with intercessory prayer, Bible discussions, learning how to become a Christian, or, just finding a place that you can meet some friends that have decided to follow Jesus, come see us or call 837-5202.
